Reflecting on the @RealRevolution

Here we are... the technical 'end of the road'. Now that the semester is over and these projects have officially 'closed' I am here with my final blog post. The channel will soldier on, as will the Twitter, and facebook pages. But the blog ends here.
Looking back at this channel I learned stuff, let's discuss that stuff!
I learned how to network, I'm communicating with more wrestling fans over twitter and it's a fantastic time! I learned how to talk more effectively about wrestling, and I learned how to do webcam stuff... yeah not terribly earth shattering.
But some through lines were explored firstly I got some community building done. I have more fans of wrestling that I connect with on twitter. I created my idea of 'beauty' by making some cool videos, and revamping my twitter account. God worshipping was accomplished for me, I worshipped God by sing my abilities and talents to entertain. 1 Peter 4:10-11 says "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen."

All in all though, I had a great time making this channel, it's been a lot of fun, and I think I've decided to use this experience and enter some sort of journalism, maybe opinion writing for wrestling!
Thanks for reading the blog, and subscribe to my channel!

Moving forward the @RealRevolution

So, the channel is moving along well. At least I think so...
In all honesty though I think that everything is running relatively smoothly so far. I have been able to update relatively on time, and my videos are getting moderate views.
But where do I go from here? Where do we take the @RealRevolution?

MORE

We need more content, more networking, more work into it. I have created custom covers for my videos so they look better, I have been trimming the length of my videos, I have been gaining more subscribers and views! But we need more, we need to post new videos, I want to get other videos that aren't the reviews. I also want more connection, I want to get people commenting on the videos. (this means you readers!)

I legitimately think it is very important to get more stuff up on the channel. And to get a presence, if you didn't know I have my twitter account, a facebook page, and the channel. If people are liking and commenting and tweeting like they are for the mainstream stars, I'd be ecstatic.

So anyways those are my long-term goals for the channel. I hope you subscribe to it, and keep following the @RealRevolution.

Scheduling the @RealRevolution

Scheduling is hard... seriously. The main problem is time. We all need to keep in mind that right now, I'm in a play, and in school, and I have a job. Therefore alongside that and my hopeful free time, it isn't easy to find time to film and put up a YouTube video. However it's key that you schedule when you are going to upload. I'm going to try and go once a week for now. Put it up on Tuesday's. After I get the hang of that, into that rhythm, we'll see where I go from there.

Networking the @RealRevolution

Networking.
That's the focus of this post here.
But first something fun!
Cyanide and Happiness, a daily webcomic

Great now that's out of the way. Anyways; as of this writing the channel (subscribe to it!) has 5 subscribers and four videos. I definitely want to increase both of those numbers as soon as possible.

But onto networking. To try and generate views on the channel I am consistently tweeting and facebooking about my videos an my channel. But that's not all! I also have sent a message (or four) to a few popular YouTubers asking for suggestions and advice. I'm being very polite but not too formal. I'll post back any advice I get (if I get any).

So that's all for now, and keep following my @RealRevolution

Beginning the @RealRevolution

Alright; here I am. My name is @RealColinGinter. I will be posting here, hopefully weekly, maybe more about my progress on my passion project.
My project is a YouTube channel. (channel can be found by clicking the word "My Channel"). The channel is also titled @RealColinGinter. Anyways my channel will mainly consist of WWE reviews and opinions.
I've started a weekly series called "WWE Week In Review" In that segment I will analyze what happened over the past week in the WWE Universe.
I am also planning to launch WWE2K14 analyses where I discuss the game. And a question answering episode (however only if I get more subscribers...)
Regardless I hope you all subscribe as I try this out! I hope to learn some comedic techniques and also basic YouTube etiquette!
